Man, paramour held for abetting wife’s suicide

Bhopal: Aishbagh police, investigating the suicide of a 24-year-old woman, on Wednesday filed a case on charges of abetment against her husband and his paramour and arrested the two accused.Police said that deceased Deepali Rajak, a resident of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar in Aishbagh, was married to Mahesh Malviya, a resident of Hoshangabad in 2018. Mahesh works as a driver while she was a homemaker. The couple had two children — daughter (4) and son (1).Police said that Deepali came to her parents home with her children after a dispute with her husband. On September 4, at around 2pm, she told her mother that she was going to take a bath and went to her room where she hanged herself.ACP Jehangirabad conducted probe in the matter as it was a suicide case of a newly-wed. It was revealed that Mahesh had an extramarital affair with Itarsi-based woman.
