45-year-old driver kills self in Kolar

Bhopal: A 45-year-old driver allegedly died after hanging himself at his home in Kolar locality. No suicide note was recovered but it was suspected that he took the extreme step due to financial problems. ASI Rajendra Kein said that deceased Mahendra Parte, a resident of Ganpati Enclave in Kolar, worked as a driver and lives with wife and a son, Ayush. The family had dinner on Tuesday night and went to sleep. Next day at around 8.30am, when Ayush and his mother woke up, they found that their room was locked from outside. They managed to open the door and found Mahendra hanging. They informed family members and later the police. Kein said that no suicide note was recovered from the spot but it seems that financial troubles led him to take the extreme step. Mahendra earned Rs 7000 per month and his wife earned little by stitching clothes. Further investigations were underway. TNN
