Chhola police station ASI caught for bribe

The Special Police Establishment of Lokayukta caught Santosh Singh, assistant sub-inspector of Chhola police station, taking bribe. The Lokayukta has taken this action based on the complaint. According to Lokayukta officials, Assistant Sub-Inspector Santosh Singh Dangi of Chhola police station has been caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of 10,000. According to the complainant, he was demanding Rs 50000 rupees in some case. The team in this action was led by DSP Sanjay Shukla. The team consists of DSP Virendra Singh, Inspector Uma Kushwaha, Head Constable Rajendra Pawan, Constable Sandeep etc. In this case, the applicant, Hemant Kumar Arya, who lives at Bhanpur, complained to the Lokayukta and told that the kiosk was operated by him which was closed in June 2023. A person named Jagdish Sharma lodged a complaint against the complaint at Chhola police station, on which Assistant Sub-Inspector of Chhola police station Santosh Singh showed the complaint and  demanded Rs 50000 by Santosh Dangi, Assistant Sub-Inspector of the police station, on which the seal and signature of the applicant were missing.
