More than 50 farmers from Karnataka detained at Bhopal

More than 50 farmers were detained from Karnataka Express in Bhopal who were going to join the movement of farmers organizations in Delhi on February 13. After they were detained, late at night all the farmers were kept in a marriage garden. As soon as the morning broke, the farmers reached the rooftop and started shouting slogans. Later they also sat on strike. A large number of police forces have been deployed at the spot. Om Prakash Rajouria, associated with the National Farmers Labor Federation, Bhopal, said that at least 150 farmers have been arrested in Madhya Pradesh. The farmers who were giving water to the fields. They caught him and took him away. Police have misbehaved with women at home. We are not being allowed to meet our people. Among the farmers dropped from the Karnataka Express, the wife of B Shanta Kumar, senior member of the core committee of Rashtriya Samyukta Kisan Morcha, has also been dropped. Later she was sent to the marriage garden. B. Shanta Kumar was in Chandigarh, he is also leaving the movement and coming to Bhopal. We are not being allowed to meet the people present there. The police should release our comrades and get them proper treatment. Otherwise we will start a jail bharo movement in the entire Madhya Pradesh. Farmers movement in Delhi has been announced by farmer organizations of Haryana and Punjab. To ensure that the law and order situation in Delhi does not deteriorate during the agitation, the Delhi government has imposed prohibitory orders On Sunday night, Bhopal Police had received information from Karnataka Express about more than 50 farmers going to Delhi. Based on this input, Bhopal Police, with the help of GRP team, dropped more than 50 farmers traveling in Karnataka Express at Bhopal Railway Station. When the farmers were deboarded from the train by GRP and Bhopal Police, they created a ruckus at the railway station.
