Polling teams reach for the 4th and final phase of Lok Sabha elections

Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has said that polling teams have reach for the polling stations with material on Sunday in the 8 Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies where voting is being conducted on May 13. In view of the heat for the fourth and last phase of voting in the state for Lok Sabha elections-2024, shade, water, coolers, fans, medicines as well as mini ICUs for emergency treatment were also established at the polling material distribution sites. Medical kits containing essential medicines have also been given to all the members of the polling party. Arrangements were also made to distribute breakfast, mango pana and buttermilk to the polling personnel at the material distribution site. Rajan said that special arrangements are being made at all the polling centers so that the voters do not have to face any problem in the heat. Keeping in mind the heat wave other arrangements including mango pana, buttermilk, cold drinking water, awnings, seating arrangements, medicines are being made at the polling stations. Besides, arrangements have also been made to ensure that the differently-abled and the elderly voters do not have to stand in queues and can vote immediately. It may be noted that, voting will be held in the remaining 8 Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies of the state in the fourth phase on May 13. This includes Dewas (SC), Ujjain (SC), Mandsaur, Ratlam (ST), Dhar (ST), Indore, Khargone (ST) and Khandwa Lok Sabha constituencies.
