Bhopal: Over 55 Kendra Vidhyalays under Bhopal region are set to install biometric machines to mark attendance of teachers, employees as well as students. The multi-purpose card, technically called as Online Multi-domain Value (OMV), would be given to all the staff and students of KV. "The programme was launched by the MHRD for KVs in 2015, but the work for its implementation all over the country got delayed. Deputy commissioner of Bhopal region would function as nodal officer and keep a watch on the entire initiative. "Following the implementation of the new system no one would be able to miss the school as the attendance would be accessible to MHRD officials directly," officials told TOI.
