BHOPAL: Narmada Bachao Andolan (NBA) leader Medha Patkar met state convener of AAP Alok Agarwal at Bhopal Central Jail on Wednesday.Agarwal is in jail for past two days after he was arrested by Bhopal police for demanding FIR against police officers who according to a tribal woman's family had allegedly abetted her suicide.Talking about the incident, Patakar told TOI, "This is what we have faced throughout the Narmada Bachao Andolan, it is ridiculous and role of police is condemnable. There is clear cut guideline of Supreme Court in Lalita Yadav case that in such cases where there is an allegation of such serious nature against police, first FIR should be registered.
