Sudarsan worked for nearly 8 to 10 hours to complete the 6-ft-high and 20-ft-long sand art. Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday was all praises of Sudarsan’s art.Though the 41-year-old Sudarsan has been creating sand arts in regular intervals in the country and abroad, the Konark art, sculpted on Wednesday mesmerized the visitors at the international sand art museum at Tottori in Japan. A number of dignitaries, including New York-based famous fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra took to the social media and congratulated Sudarsan, a Padma Shri awardee.Sudarsan, who returned from Japan on Friday, said the Konark art is his best work so far. “I was overwhelmed to see visitors’ appreciation in Japan. It was my longstanding wish to project Konark in global market.
