Was Gandhiji's death 'accidental sequence of events' or he was shot dead by Godse? Changing history!

Can there be a bigger instance of history being taught to the posterity in a manner that can be described as a Himalayan blunder. A booklet on the eve of Mahatma Ganghi`s 150th birth anniversary read that, Mahatma had died due to ` Accidental Sequence of Events`. Such a booklet had been in large circulation in schools and other institutions that the Odisha government`s School and Mass Education tried to plead ignorance about for some time. Something goes on in broad day light that the system refuses to see.                     By D N Singh

Was it a mistake or a deliberate attempt to trumpet an agenda by some political elements at the national level who refuse to find a devil in the killer of the Mahatma Gandhi. The world knows that Gandhi was killed point blank by Nathuram Godse at Birla temple and was arrested. Then what does that mean, `Accidental Sequence of Events` !

Or was it an endorsement of the agenda by a certain dispensation to keep the killer of Gandhi away from the stains of blood.

What is worse than this unforgivable distortion of history, is the shameful interpretation by the state’s school and mass education minister Samir Dash, as he has been quoted by a Delhi based reputed website that, it (accidental sequence of events) was just to avoid creating any bitterness in the minds of children.

Can there be anything more shocking an excuse that not only expose his ignorance about history or he is simply trying to fool the people.

No time should be wasted and all those booklets in distribution must be withdrawn on a war footing and the person responsible must be taken to task.

Reading into what the minister was stated to have said, either he is trying to paper over a truth or is simply pandering to the whims of a political dispensation which, still, is not ready to openly say that, Godse acted like a terror element and shot Bapu point blank to death.

The state government must wake up and take the wrong doers into the task and must reprimand the concerned minister to apologise immediately.
