Actor Sabyasachi Mishra has helped many migrant laborers. He has helped around 12 people in setting up their businesses either in their native place or in the place they are stuck.

Actor Sabyasachi recently helped a woman in starting her canteen by providing her with kitchen equipment. He also initiated help to various migrant workers stranded in Kerala to start their own business.

The actor who has worked in Odi cinema as well as in Telegu films stated ‘’a man in Kerala didn’t want to come back as he felt the situation in Odisha is the same. So I sent him ration immediately and later sent INR 6000 to start a small business. He is selling mushrooms there trying to take care of his family. If I had brought them back it would have incurred more expenditure’’. He also donated sewing machine to girl and helped her start her business.

He also added that a team of volunteers are working with him in this grave cause and stated that many people are now returning to their workplace. But recently he has been receiving complaints that these migrants are not being paid properly by their authorities, who blame it on current situation.

On this issue he stated ‘’I have been getting complaints from these poor migrants that they are not paid even after working hard. This is disturbing situation. I can help those who are willing to start something of their own’’.
