Fog Warning for next 48 hours in Odisha; IMD

The same yellow warning has been issued for tomorrow and day after tomorrow.

While dry weather prevailed over the districts of Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s Bhubaneswar Meteorological (Met) Centre in its Mid Day Weather Bulletin has issued a yellow warning of the foggy weather condition for the next 48 hours in the State.

 “Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj,” was reported in the bulletin.

The same yellow warning has been issued for tomorrow and day after tomorrow.

According to the forecast,  “Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Kandhamal and Boudh.”

On the other hand, the Met Centre has predicted that there would be no large change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) over the districts of Odisha and it would be above normal by 3-4 degree Celsius at many places over the districts of coastal Odisha during next 2-3 days. Thereafter, the minimum temperature is likely to fall by 3-5 degree Celsius over the districts of interior Odisha and fall by 2-3 degree Celsius gradually over the districts of coastal Odisha
