Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police Sends 90 Oxygen Tankers To Other States Via Green Corridor

Odisha is in a much better situation in terms of oxygen stock in the country. Earlier, Odisha has sent 1267 metric tons of oxygen to seven different states in the country through a total of 67 tankers. in a press conference held here.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has set a big example of how the country should work together in the time of crisis by keeping politics aside. CM Naveen Patnaik has come forward to help other states who are facing a shortage of medical oxygen.

In this series, Odisha Police has sent 90 tankers of medical oxygen on Tuesday by constructing a green corridor. Police have so far dispatched 1675.781 MT of medical oxygen-filled containers from Rourkela, Jajpur, Dhenkanal and Angul districts. In this, 30 tankers with 644.72 MT oxygen have been sent to Andhra Pradesh. While 19 tankers with 324.079 MT of oxygen have been sent to Telangana. At the same time, 15.98 MT of oxygen has been supplied to Tamil Nadu.

8 tankers filled with 187.512 MT of oxygen have been sent to Haryana. 06 tankers with 112.06 MT of oxygen have been sent to Maharashtra, while 61.44 MT of oxygen-filled in 4 tankers have left for Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh received 114.17 metric tonnes of oxygen from Odisha in the last five days.
