A person has to denigrate his morals to an unfathomable low to do what a man has done in  Odisha`s Kendrapada district.

When a video went viral showing the man called Babula Singh getting down to a beastly level to hack a sleeping dog in a place.

Demonic Act

The video clip can disturb anyone as to how a man can be so reprehensible and cruel to such an extent, regardless of the cause for such an act.

The accused tip-toes through a gully, hiding a sharp weapon behind, and slowly heads towards the unsuspecting animal sleeping quietly.

Then he gets closer to the animal, raises his weapon, and swiftly hacked the animal on the neck. It can flabbergast anyone to see what happened next!

So brutal and deep was the cut that the poor animal could not do more than reeling in pain and his screams were lost in that quiet afternoon.

The dog was not even able to stand on its feet and his neck, half stuck to the body, the animal was rolling and struggling to hold itself together but unable to do so.

Incidentally, someone was, perhaps, aware of the intention of the accused, was shooting the dastardly act on a mobile phone.

The question is, why didn`t the man who was doing the video alert the dog rather than shooting the gory scene. The animal could have escaped the tragic end.

That incident took place on May 28 but the stains of blood of the animal would haunt many animal lovers in the world for a long.

PFA Deserve A Pat

The tale of the poor animal reached its tragic epilogue as he succumbed to the injury lying in a pool of blood.

Death after such an attack was imminent but what about such people who can do that!

It happened in Pattamundai in the Kendrapada district. Whatever might be the reason but such beastly fall of human instinct is difficult to narrate in words.

The People For Animal(PFA) came to know about the incident and lost no time in lodging a complaint with the local police under intimation to the District Collector requesting for immediate arrest of the accused under Section 428, 429, 111(a) Animal Cruelty Act under 506 IPC. He has been forwarded to judicial custody.

“ Thankfully the local police have acted fast and have apprehended the accused from somewhere he was trying to give a slip to the police,” said Jeevan Das, Secretary PFA Odisha Chapter.

Information gathered from the locals says that sometime back the dead animal had killed a few chickens of the accused and so on.
