Odisha government announces Rs 26.29 crores relief package for urban street vendors

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday announced financial assistance of Rs 26.29 crore for street vendors

The livelihood of labourers and poor people has been affected due to the lockdown imposed twice within the last one and a half years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There is an economic crisis in front of the people. Meanwhile, the Odisha government has come forward to help such people. The state government is helping those who are going through an economic crisis.

The livelihood of street vendors has come to a standstill for the last one and a half years and it will take a long time for them to come out of it. Now, the Odisha government has announced to help such people.

The government of Odisha has announced a relief package for the street vendors of the state amid the problems arising out of the lockdown due to the Corona epidemic. The government has announced a relief package of Rs 26.29 crore for street vendors in urban areas.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday announced financial assistance of Rs 26.29 crore for street vendors. He has released this amount from the Chief Minister`s Relief Fund for the street vendors of urban areas. Let us tell you that 87,657 people will get benefit with the help of the Chief Minister.
