Odisha: Pet cat `Chinu` saves owner`s life, prevents 4 ft long cobra from entering house for 30 min

A poisonous cobra was trying to enter the house; meanwhile, the pet cat came in his way. The cat stood firmly in the way of the cobra. The cat did not give the snake a chance even for a moment to enter the house.

A startling incident has emerged from Bhubaneswar, Odisha where a pet cat saved its owner`s family from danger by stopping a cobra snake from entering their home. The incident is from Bhimatangi area of ​​the city, where Sampad Kumar Parida and his family and their pet cat Chinu live.

A poisonous cobra was trying to enter the house; meanwhile, the pet cat came in his way. The cat stood firmly in the way of the cobra. The cat did not give the snake a chance even for a moment to enter the house.

When the cobra was spotted near Parida`s house on Tuesday afternoon, his cat Chinu immediately swung into action.

Parida saw Chinu running towards the back of the house. He followed the cat and saw that the cat was standing firmly in front of the four feet long cobra and preventing it from coming into the house. He told that both of them started fighting.

The tussle between the cat and the cobra continued for 30 minutes. Later, Sampada called the snake helpline for help who rescued the cobra.
