Dutee Chand's car set on fire near her house

But miscreants torched the car in front of our house on Monday night," said Saraswati Chand, Dutee's elder sister.Meanwhile, on Monday, Dutee won bronze in the first leg of the Asian Grand Prix in China in the women's 100 metre by clocking 11.59 seconds. "It was a gift that was precious to her. "Because she is in China and concentrating on the international track and field meet, we have decided not to inform her about the incident as it may affect her performance," said Dutee's father, Chakradhar.Police are investigating the case, said IIC of Kuakhia police station Ashis Kumar Sahoo.
