Tribune News ServiceChandigarh, January 13A local court has acquitted a Mohali resident in a cheque-bounce case.
However, the company still submitted the security cheque of Rs 3.91 lakh which was more than the amount that was due.
A case was filed by Sri Ram Transport Corporation against Darshan Singh who had financed a car from them.
As per his counsel, the amount payable, including the interest, was Rs 5.45 lakh out of which Rs 2.15 lakh had already been paid.
