He said the fragrance also gives peace of mind. Sourcing raw material from Kannoj in Uttar Pradesh, Subhash blends the right potion of fragrances by toning and mixing assorted ingredients.

Subhash Kolla from Vijayawada in city to sell perfumes Karam Prakash Patiala, February 21 With 70 varieties of perfumes, entrepreneur Subhash Kolla from Gollapudi village in Vijayawada has set up a stall at the Sheesh Mahal. He believes that traditional fragrance helps cure depression, anger and control stress. He said the fragrance also gives peace of mind. Subhash started his business a decade ago and come to Patiala for the first time to witness the Saras Mela. He said the demand for traditional fragrance and aroma therapies had seen a positive shift in the recent years. He added that the demand had also witnessed a refreshing change in the perfumes segment. After completing BCom and a diploma in perfumery, Subhash forayed into the perfume industry, experimenting with niche scents extracted from flowers, herbs and tree bark. He has been catering to clients located in AP, Haryana, New Delhi and Odisha under the brand name Nataraj. His products include natural agarbattis, attars, aroma-based mosquito repellents and a whole range of aromatic products. “Earlier, my family was involved in making incense sticks. Much later, I started selling alcohol-free deodorants, perfumes and essential oils. There are over 70 varieties of oils made ingredients like jasmine, rose, lavender, musk and saffron. Lavender-based oil is now in high demand as several therapists use it for treatment to relieve stress and induce sleep among patients,” said the perfume maker. Sourcing raw material from Kannoj in Uttar Pradesh, Subhash blends the right potion of fragrances by toning and mixing assorted ingredients. Subhash said,” A large number of people have come on the first day. I am hoping for a good business in the fair.”
