BRIEFLY Chandigarh: Learning Paths School, Mohali, registered a 34-run victory over St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, to enter St. Xavier’s Cricket League final here on Tuesday. Batting first, Learning Paths scored 143/9 in 20 overs with Bhrigav hitting a 31-ball 48. Aditya was the most successful bowler for St Joseph’s, claiming 3/37. Rannvijay bagged 2/19. In reply, St. Joseph’s boys could only manage 109/6 in their 20 overs. Manraj claimed two wickets for Learning Paths, while Aksh made 30 runs for St Joseph’s. — TNSChandigarh: Pankaj Kumar smashed a strokefull half-century to help Livewire Coaching Centre (LWCC) beat PMK Group of Companies by 62 runs in the Donate Eyes T20 Cricket Championship here on Tuesday. Batting first, LWCC rode on Kumar’s 96-run knock to pile up 161/6 in 20 overs. Vikas Saini added 32 runs to the total. Neeraj was the pick of the bowlers for PMK Group, claiming 3/29. Anuj Mahajan and Piyush Mahajan claimed a wicket each. In reply, PMK group could only score 99/7 in 20 overs. Aarush and Davinder picked two wickets apiece.
