There is also a provision of penalising waste collectors in case they fail to perform their duties. The provision of penalty has been proposed for those who refuse to give waste to garbage collectors. Sources said the MC had prepared draft of Solid Waste Management Rules-2018, which would be tabled during the next General House meeting for approval.
