Gangster Dilpreet Singh's grilling for 2 more days

CHANDIGARH: A local court on Sunday remanded gangster Dilpreet Singh Dahan in police custody for two more days.Earlier, Sector 36 police had taken his two-day police custody for interrogation after he was discharged from PGI on Friday. The court was apprised about his condition and the judge went to the hospital for the hearing. However, the gangster spent those days in a private room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, recuperating from a bullet injury he received during a shootout outside the Sector 43 bus stand on July 9.Police said Dahan was unable to walk and complained of severe pain in his leg.

The Sector 36 police did not ask to extend his police custody but Maloya police moved an application for his production warrant for interrogation in the murder case of Satnam Singh, sarpanch of Khurda village, Hoshiarpur .
