Join November 30 stir in Delhi, Yogendra Yadav urges Haryana farmers

Addressing a press conference at Panchkula today, Yadav said Akhil Bhartiya Kisan Sangharsh Samanvay Samiti has given the call for the farmers stir in which over 200 organisations of the farmers would participate. In today’s press conference, Swaraj India Haryana unit president Rajiv Godara, general secretary Deepak Lamba, senior party leader SP Singh and Shalini Kumari were also present.

As per plans, the farmers from various parts of the country will reach to Delhi on November 29 to take part in the two day stir. Yadav has gone for a three-day-long Haryana visit from today to seek support of farmers for the proposed protest in the national capital. Addressing a press conference at Panchkula today, Yadav said Akhil Bhartiya Kisan Sangharsh Samanvay Samiti has given the call for the farmers stir in which over 200 organisations of the farmers would participate. “There are only two demands of the farmers in this phase of the stir; farm loan waiver and fair prices of crops. The farmers will demand the parliament to pass a resolution for the same while holding its special session,” said Yadav. A Lok Sabha MP from Kerala Raju Shetti, says Yadav had tabled a bill in the parliament last year in this regard and as many as 21 political parties have promised to support the same. In today’s press conference, Swaraj India Haryana unit president Rajiv Godara, general secretary Deepak Lamba, senior party leader SP Singh and Shalini Kumari were also present.
