(Source: Express Photo) AHEAD OF Ajay Chautala’s rally in Jind town scheduled on Saturday, his wife and MLA from Dabwali, Naina Chautala, Friday hinted at formation of a new political outfit, saying they would work to install “a new flag and staff”. However, Ajay faction has strongly been claiming over INLD stating “it’s their party”. Naina Chautala today held a rally at Jamal village in Ellenabad Assembly Constituency of Abhay Chautala in Sirsa district as part of her ‘Hari Chunri ki Chaupal’ programme. Ajay faction arranged live telecast of the rally through “ INLD OFFICIAL” on YouTube and later shared it’s link to the media apart from issuing press release and videos of the function through other electronic mediums. However, Ajay’s son and Lok Sabha MP Dushyant Chautala did not respond to the phone calls and text message regarding her mother’s indication for a new political outfit. In a sharpest attack at their opponents without naming anybody, in the rally today, Naina Chautala even said that “by expelling Ajay Singh, they have shown that they are goondas and they will remain goondas forever”. “The original character of a person can’t change even if he wears dress of a saint.” In Bagri dialect, Naina Chautala said, “Kale ek nyo jhanda aur dando aapan gadan ko kam karange (Tomorrow, we will work to install a new flag and staff)”. Naina was referring to Jind rally scheduled on Saturday while terming it biggest day for them. Before addressing the rally at Jind on Saturday, Ajay Chautala will also hold a state executive meeting with INLD leaders including his supporter-MLAs despite Abhay faction terming it as “unconstitutional”. Ajay and both his sons have been expelled from INLD for ‘anti-party activities’. Abhay Chautala will also hold a parallel meeting of state executive at Chandigarh on Saturday. Naina indirectly challenged her brother-in-law (devar) Abhay Chautala, daring him to expel her from INLD. “You have expelled Ajay ji but why did you not expel me despite the fact that I am his wife?” There is a feeling in Ajay Chautala camp that Abhay won’t expel her as he may lose the post of Leader of Opposition (LOP), if he sacks Naina Chautala. Currently, INLD has 18 MLAs but one of them, Nagender Bhadana, is a known supporter of BJP. Congress has 17 legislators in the Haryana Assembly. Taking on Abhay Chautala for expelling Ajay Chautala from the INLD, Naina said, “For what crime has Ajay Singh ji has been expelled despite the fact he worked for the party for 40 years?” Indirectly referring to Abhay Chautala, Naina added why they could not make anybody Chief Minister in 2014 elections when nobody was in this race, as Om Prakash Chautala and Ajay Chautala had already gone to jail. Abhay faction has been stating that Om Prakash Chautala would decide Chief Minister, if the party was voted to power in the next assembly elections. Naina said that they have faced hardships and questions over holdings programmes like her ‘Hari Chunri ki Chaupal’ and Digvijay Chautala’s functions of INSO, students wing of INLD. “But now all barriers have been broken and we are free,” said Naina accompanied by INLD women cell president Sheela Bhyan.
