Free app for women's safety launched by NRI

CHANDIGARH: Non-resident Indian (NRI) Paramdeep Singh , now settled in New Zealand , has come up with a self-security app for the safety of women in Chandigarh and Punjab. The app is not only helpful for women but for everyone, including senior citizens.Manisha Gulati, chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission, feels that the app a good initiative towards the women's safety. The app is designed keeping in mind the concept of personal safety. The app is available for free on android and IOS.

CHANDIGARH: Non-resident Indian (NRI) Paramdeep Singh , now settled in New Zealand , has come up with a self-security app for the safety of women in Chandigarh and Punjab. He has launched this app in association with Chandigarh Resident Association's Welfare Federation (CRAFED).Through this app, named as 'PLEASE HELP', the user can send emergency help message to almost 30 contacts along with GPS location immediately by pressing the Panic Button on the app.Paramdeep has launched this app in New Zealand as well. The local council in New Zealand and chamber of commerce have endorsed it. The app is not only helpful for women but for everyone, including senior citizens.Manisha Gulati, chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission, feels that the app a good initiative towards the women's safety. Manisha said, "Please Help app is one of the good options when it comes to safety apps for women. The app is designed keeping in mind the concept of personal safety. It incorporates all the essential features such as GPS tracking, emergency contact numbers, directions to safe locations etc. The app is available for free on android and IOS.
