LUDHIANA: The row over Punjab cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu 's controversial statement over Pulwama terror attack doesn't seem to end. In a development that may make matters worse for Sidhu, resentment in his own party against him is brewing more and more on daily basis with prominent leaders now criticizing him over the issue.The latest to join the chorus is congress MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu who has now advised Sidhu to rethink about his remarks. Bittu has also said that he will not let Delhi- Lahore bus Sada E Sarhad operate and will ask the Central government to suspend the service.Speaking to TOI over the issue MP Bittu said, "Cabinet minister Navjot Sidhu is a leader of big stature and a true patriot. As throughout his cricketing career he has been slamming our arch rival Pakistan by his sixes and fours and holding our national pride high. However it is my personal viewpoint that Navjot Sidhu could have avoided this controversy and he should have condemned Pakistan as its involvement can not be denied in the terror attack in Pulwama in which 40 of our brave soldiers were martyred. I think Sidhu should rethink about his statement and give befitting reply to Pakistan"Meanwhile coming down heavily against Pakistan, Bittu who led a candle march against Pulwama attack said, "Time has come to show Pakistan the mirror and why should we let the Sada E Sarhad bus service operate between India and Pakistan as why should such we keep relations with such neighbours which is nothing less than a venomous snake. I will write to centre government tomorrow and ask for stopping the services of this bus else we will have to think of action on our own"
