Army jawan from Lalru cremated with honours

Tribune News ServiceMohali, July 11An Army jawan Gurpreet Singh (24), resident of Dharamgarh village, was cremated with full honours amidst tearful eyes here today. Earlier, the jawan’s body, wrapped in Tricolour, was brought with full honours by Army personnel to Dharamgarh village today. The Dera Bassi SDM, Puja Syal, paid honours to the jawan on behalf of the Mohali administration. Earlier, body of jawan was flown to the Air Force base in Chandigarh. It is to be noted that Gurpreet Singh had joined the Sikh Regiment Unit No.
