Two killed, 15 hurt in mishap

Ambala, July 15Two youths were killed and 15 others were injured in an accident involving a car and a bus near Shastri Colony on the National Highway in Ambala Cantonment here late this evening. The deceased have been identified as Rajat and Rajan, both in early 20s and residents of Uchana village of Karnal district. The bus was on its way from Fatehgarh to Delhi, while the car was on its way towards Karnal. The victims were rushed to the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment where two youths were declared brought dead while two women, who were travelling in the bus, were referred to the PGI in Chandigarh. Surender Singh, SHO, Parao police station, said: “The bus was ferrying 28 followers of Dera Radha Soami.” — TNS
