40 saplings planted at university

Chandigarh, July 15A tree plantation drive was carried out at the Department of Biochemistry, Panjab University, with the assistance of the Horticulture Department. More than 40 saplings of Ashoka and hamilia were planted on the premises of the BMS Block-II on South campus. “A lot of excitement could be seen among the faculty, staff and students of the department and they promised to nurture the trees for a greener campus,” said the chairperson of the department said.
