3 fail to give information on tenants, servants; arrested

According to the police, Vijay Thakut, a resident of Mani Majra, has been booked for not providing information about two employees working at Royal Hotel, Sector 24. Vijay was arrested and later released on bail. Sachin was arrested and later released on bail. Meanwhile, a Sarangpur resident has been booked for renting his shop at Sarangpur village and not providing information about the tenant to the police. He was arrested and later released on bail.

Chandigarh, July 21 Continuing the drive against landlords who have failed to get police verification of tenants and servants done, the UT police registered three more cases regarding the same and arrested the accused. According to the police, Vijay Thakut, a resident of Mani Majra, has been booked for not providing information about two employees working at Royal Hotel, Sector 24. A case has been registered against him at the Sector 11 police station. Vijay was arrested and later released on bail. In another case, Sachin a resident of Ram Darbar, Phase I, has been booked for not providing information about the employee working at his shop in the PGI, Sector 11. Sachin was arrested and later released on bail. Meanwhile, a Sarangpur resident has been booked for renting his shop at Sarangpur village and not providing information about the tenant to the police. A case was registered against him at the Sarangpur police station. He was arrested and later released on bail.
