‘Improve health services or face action’

Our CorrespondentKharar, August 18Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu today paid a surprise visit to the Civil Hospital, Kharar, today evening. He visited Emergency and Female Ward and held discussions with the patients. Sidhu said he was shocked to see that poor services were being offered to patients. The Minister said he has asked the hospital authorities to improve the facilities within seven days or stern action would be taken against them. Sidhu said Kharar being a prominent town, large number of villagers visit the Civil Hospital.

He said bathrooms were in very bad shape. The Minister said he has asked the hospital authorities to improve the facilities within seven days or stern action would be taken against them. Sidhu said Kharar being a prominent town, large number of villagers visit the Civil Hospital. He said more facilities would be provided at the hospital soon.
