People visiting the hospital were made aware of symptoms of dengue.
SMO Dr Surinder Singh said, “Dengue is caused by Aedes aegypti mosquito.
He said isolation wards have been prepared in government hospitals and daily monitoring of platelet count was mandatory in positive cases.
The SMO said we should take a pledge to drain out fresh water in homes and offices on a regular basis.
