Satluj boys beat Sarthak School by 7 wkts, win title

Batting first, Sarthak School were all out for 74 runs in 15 overs as Satluj bowlers kept picking wickets at regular intervals. Sachin Dhindra (2/15), Vinay Singh (2/10), Lovish Mittal (2/12) and Kawalpreet Singh (2/15) took two wickets each for Satluj School. Jatin (17) was the top scorer for Sarthak School, while Abhishek and Ankur added 11 runs each to the total. Jatin (1/20) and Saurabh (1/15) claimed a wicket each for Sarthak School.

Narinder powers PCC A quick-fire half-century by Narinder Walia helped Play Cricket Club (PCC) register a 32-run win over VADSP XI in a Monsoon Cricket League match here today. Batting first, PCC rode on Walia's 31-ball 59 to score 186/9 in the allotted 20 overs. Yuvi Bracken made 34, while Rahul Sharma added 31 runs to PCC total. Arvind Chauhan chipped in with 29 runs. Deepak was the most effective bowler for VADSP XI, claiming 3/28. Sajal (2/26) and Rahul (2/28) bagged two wickets each. In reply, VADSP XI could only get 154/9 in 20 overs. Honey made 42 runs, while Ved contributed 24 runs to the chase. Rahul scored 17 runs. Arvind Chauhan (2/14) and Ravindra Chanchal (2/22) took two wickets apiece for PCC.
