Cop’s cellphone recovered from fields in Mohali

Giving details, Inspector Rajesh Hastir, Station House Officer of the Sohana police station, said the mobile phone of Constable Jaswant Singh was recovered from a field located around two kms away from the crime spot. The victim claimed that he was drugged by the miscreants, who put a sedative-laced cloth in his mouth. “The miscreants threw the mobile phone in the fields so that they could not be traced by the police. After committing the crime, they seemed to have fled towards the Banur side. Constable Jaswant Singh has been posted with the PCR, Mohali.
