However, the staff claimed that the milk packet was not sold by the store. The customer again picked a milk packet from the store with a similar expiry date mentioned on it, but the staff refused to sell the milk. Sandeep, manager, Easyday, while refuting the allegations, said milk was out of stock till 8.30 pm on Tuesday and added that about 20 customers, who had come to purchase milk, were sent back.

She said as soon as she heated the milk, it curdled and when she checked the packet, she found that the milk’s expiry date was September 14. She again visited the grocery store and complained about it. However, the staff claimed that the milk packet was not sold by the store. The customer again picked a milk packet from the store with a similar expiry date mentioned on it, but the staff refused to sell the milk. Jain said even after waiting for over two hours, the manager did not come forward to address the issue. The irate customer said she would knock on the door of the consumer court as Easyday was playing with the health of people. Sandeep, manager, Easyday, while refuting the allegations, said milk was out of stock till 8.30 pm on Tuesday and added that about 20 customers, who had come to purchase milk, were sent back. He said they kept a proper record of the milk purchased and sold on a daily basis and had CCTV footage of the past 45 days.
