Steelers confident of displacing Warriors

Chandigarh, September 18 On a roll, Haryana Steelers would been keen on maintaining their upward charge when they take on Bengal Warriors in their Pro Kabaddi League match at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune tomorrow. Steelers have been unbeaten in their last seven outings and Dharmaraj Cheralathan led side is confident of a good show against the second-placed Warriors. “The mood in the camp is really good right now. All the players are confident about their game. We have to keep winning every match and not look too far ahead. We will take one match at a time. Right now we are thinking about only Bengal Warriors, since they are our next opponent,” said Haryana’s Vikas Kale. The defender said Haryana Steelers would have the upper hand against Bengal Warriors since the team had beaten them earlier in the season. “We are confident of performing well against Bengal Warriors since we have beaten them earlier in the season. We will play even better this time. All the players complement each other well in the team. Everyone tries to give their 100 per cent when they step on the mat,” Kale pointed. Steelers had defeated Bengal Warriors in the last season as well and they will be aiming to maintain their good record against the side. However, the side will have to be wary of Bengal raider Maninder Singh and all-rounder Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh, and Kale expressed that Haryana’s defense unit will have to be on point during the tomorrow’s match. “All the players are good in Bengal Warriors. We will work out a strategy for each and every member in the team. They have good raiders, and therefore we have to be on point as a defense unit during the match against Bengal,” said Kale.
