City girl Sana designs poster on car-free day

The poster aims to create awareness regarding environmental issues and encourage the use of bicycles. Sawhney, a resident of Sector 18, is a second year student of the Chandigarh College of Architecture. An avid environmentalist, Sawhney decided to do her bit by drawing a poster as climate change worries her. We must make abundant use of this facility for commuting and thus, shunning the use of cars.”

The poster aims to create awareness regarding environmental issues and encourage the use of bicycles. Sawhney, a resident of Sector 18, is a second year student of the Chandigarh College of Architecture. An avid environmentalist, Sawhney decided to do her bit by drawing a poster as climate change worries her. Sawhney said: “Through this poster, I am virtually participating in the New York UN Youth Climate action summit and reducing carbon foot print through this virtual participation from Chandigarh rather than being physically present in New York today.” “Our city has extraordinary facility of dedicated cycle tracks. We must make abundant use of this facility for commuting and thus, shunning the use of cars.”
