3 booked for throwing acid on vendor

The police said acid was thrown on the face of the victim, however, he turned his face. The police said the conspirator has been identified, while his two accomplices who threw acid were yet to be identified. The police said Sarik had a heated argument with vendor over parking of their carts.

Patiala, September 20 The police have booked three persons for allegedly throwing acid on a street vendor in Nabha on Wednesday night. The victim has been identified as Sarik. The police said acid was thrown on the face of the victim, however, he turned his face. His other body parts were injured in the incident. Sarik was immediately rushed to the Nabha Civil Hospital. The doctors said the victim do not have injury on his face, however, his shoulder suffered a burn. The police said the conspirator has been identified, while his two accomplices who threw acid were yet to be identified. A case has been registered against the trio under Section 326 -A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. The police said Sarik had a heated argument with vendor over parking of their carts. The police have initiated the probe into the matter.
