Mandeep to lead Punjab in Vijay Hazare Trophy

Young Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh and Ramandeep Singh will form the batting line up along with experienced Gurkeert Singh Mann, Sharad Lumba and skipper Mandeep Singh, Kapoor said, adding that Anmol Malhotra will shoulder the responsibility of wicketkeeper. The programme is mandatory for all cricketers and support staff ahead of the domestic season, the PCA added.

Munish Bali will be the coach of the team. The team is scheduled to leave for Baroda on September 22. Squad Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh (wicketkeeper), Mandeep Singh (captain), Gurkeerat Singh Mann (vice-captain), Sharad Lumba, Ramandeep Singh, Anmol Malhotra (wicketkeeper), Siddharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma, Baltej Singh, Mayank Markande, Karan Kaila, Akul Partap Anti-doping workshop at PCA Stadium Dr Abhijit Salvi, anti doping, age verification and medical consultant, BCCI, conducted a workshop for players and support staff at IS Bindra PCA Stadium on Friday. The PCA in a media release stated that 140 people, including women cricketers, attended the workshop. The programme is mandatory for all cricketers and support staff ahead of the domestic season, the PCA added.
