Motorcyclist hit by car, dies

Tribune News ServiceChandigarh, October 15A motorcyclist was killed after being reportedly hit by an unidentified car in Sector 26. According to the police, the complainant, Neeraj, a resident of Mauli Jagran, reported that an unidentified car driver sped away from the spot after hitting the motorcyclist near the Sukhna bridge, Sector 26, on October 13. The police were informed about the incident after which the victim was taken to the PGI, where he later succumbed to his injuries. However, other details about the victim, including his address, were yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered by the police against the unknown car driver at the Sector 26 police station.
