Shuttler Samarveer to represent India

Tribune News ServiceChandigarh, November 11City shuttler Samarveer has been selected to represent the country in the Asia Junior U-15 and U-17 Championships to be held in Jakarta from December 11-15. The reigning state champion will be the first shuttler from the city to represent India in the U-15 category. Samarveer was picked in the team on the basis of his performance in the recently concluded National championships at Imphal and Guwahati, where he won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles competition. Samarveer has represented the city in many national championships. “My endeavour is to play at the top most level and bring laurels for the country,” said Samarveer.
