Mobile phone recovered from jail inmate

Patiala, November 12Officials of the Patiala Central Jail have recovered a mobile phone from a jail inmate. The police officials said the gangster inmate who was involved in the infamous Nabha jailbreak case tried to break the phone recovered without a sim card and battery. The accused inmate has been identified as Ravinder Singh. Officials said Ravinder Singh was serving jail for attempt to murder among others. Assistant jail superintendent Gulzar Singh said on a tip-off, a surprise check was conducted and the mobile phone was recovered from him.

The accused inmate has been identified as Ravinder Singh. Officials said Ravinder Singh was serving jail for attempt to murder among others. Assistant jail superintendent Gulzar Singh said on a tip-off, a surprise check was conducted and the mobile phone was recovered from him. “He tried to break the phone,” he added.
