Addressing the gathering, Bansal said Pandit Nehru was considered as the creator of modern India. Bansal said Pandit Nehru created a different identity of India in the world because of his ideas and his remarkable works. Chhabra said Pandit Nehru had dreamed of a beautiful city and laid the foundation of Chandigarh. The five-year plan that Jawaharlal Nehru drew from his vision and understanding were still benefiting the country.
