GMCH doc booked on charge of sexually harassing colleagues

According to the police, Dr Aniket Saini, a Senior Resident (Medicine), OPD, allegedly misbehaved with the women doctors at the Emergency on December 6. The women doctors brought the matter to the knowledge of seniors, including the Director-Principal, GMCH. The hospital authorities then decided to inform the police about the incident and get an FIR registered against Dr Aniket. A complaint was submitted by the office superintendent of the Director-Principal following which a case under Section 354 A (sexual harassment) and 354 B (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe) of the IPC) was registered against the suspect at the Sector 34 police station.
