Chandigarh reports 38 fresh COVID cases, one death

The UT case tally has reached 21,463 and the death toll 350 with 38 cases and one COVID death. As many as 20,908 patients have recovered from the virus. There are now 205 active cases in the district.

One more fatality was witnessed due to COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the death toll in the district to 383. Meanwhile, 49 fresh cases surfaced, while 23 more patients recovered from the virus. Among the new cases, 39 were reported from Mohali (urban), one from Kurali, two from Kharar, and seven from Dhakoli. The district has so far seen 19,988 cases, while 19,195 patients have been cured. There are now 410 active cases in the district. 

Panchkula district on Monday reported 10 fresh cases, taking the tally to 10,751. The COVID toll remained at 148. While 10,495 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 108 cases are still active.
