Nadda urged to increase Oxygen quota for Chandigarh

Tribune News ServiceChandigarh May 8BJP's national council member Sanjay Tandon has urged party president JP Nadda to increase the oxygen quota for Chandigarh.
Taking note of the growing Covid-19 cases in the city Tandon briefed Nadda that Chandigarh was witnessing an average of 700 new cases every day.
On the basis of population and area among the UTs Chandigarh's figures are alarming and oxygen quota should be increased for the city in a planned manner he said.
Tandon urged Nadda to intervene and increase the oxygen quota for Chandigarh through the Union Health Ministry.
Nadda meanwhile assured Tandon of taking up the matter with the Health Ministry.
