Mohali players inch closer to claim title

After restricting Patiala at 89/3 on Day 2 Mohali bowlers bowled out their rivals at 264 runs today. Mohali skipper Harshdeep Singh remained the star of the day as he claimed 6/83. The duo took the total to 219 runs before Rahul (42) was caught by Bhatia off Harshdeep. The Mohali skipper went on to take Yash Karan and Baltoj to claim his six-wicket haul.

After restricting Patiala at 89/3 on Day 2 Mohali bowlers bowled out their rivals at 264 runs today. Mohali skipper Harshdeep Singh remained the star of the day as he claimed 6/83. Jatin Yadav and Jaskirat Singh started the day for Patiala. The duo took the total to 121 runs before Jaskirat (30) was caught by Aryan Bhatia off Harshdeep. Dhruv Rahul thereafter joined Yadav and raised a 35-run partnership to take the total to 156. The partnership was broken by Himanshu as he accounted for Yadav (56 off 189 studded with six boundaries). Dhruv Rahul then took the charge and raised a 63-run partnership along with Harjas Singh. The duo took the total to 219 runs before Rahul (42) was caught by Bhatia off Harshdeep. Harjas (76 off 102 balls with 10 boundaries and four sixes) was the next victim to Harshdeep. The Mohali skipper went on to take Yash Karan and Baltoj to claim his six-wicket haul. Raghuvar Narang claimed Emanjot Singh (4) to wrap up Patiala innings at 264 runs. Having a 126-run lead Mohali lads posted 96/2 on the penultimate day. Jovanpreet Singh (41) and Bhatia (16) were playing at the draw of stumps. Karan and Baltej claimed one wicket each for the bowling side.
