Chandigarh to face Hoshiarpur in cricket opener

A total of eight teams — Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Muktsar, Jalandhar and Mohali — will participate in the 17-day-long championship, the Punjab Cricket Association said here today. Pool I comprises Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar and Ludhiana, while Patiala, Muktsar, Jalandhar and Mohali form Pool II.
