2 held with 150-gm heroin in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: The anti-narcotics cell of the Ludhiana police, on Saturday, arrested two drug peddlers with 150 grams of heroin. On checking, police found 100 grams of heroin from Shamsher and 50 grams from Gaurav.The accused were arrested and a case was registered against them at the Sarabha Nagar police station under relevant acts. They were arrested while travelling in a vehicle at BRS Nagar Chowk.The accused were identified as 31-year-old Shamsher Singh of Zirakpur and 27-year-old Gaurav Jindal, a private employee from BRS Nagar.Police stopped the Innova vehicle at a checkpost in BRS Nagar. It was coming from the direction of Sunet bridge.
