FROM COLLEGESThe Government Industrial Training Institute for Women, Sector 11, organised a job fair today in collaboration with Tata Strive. Earlier, Rakesh Kumar Popli, Joint Secretary-cum-Director, Technical Education, UT, inaugurated the job fair. All 20 companies under the banner of Tata Strive attended the job fair and interviewed the students. Out of total 525 students, 315 were selected by the companies from different streams with a package ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000 per month. Kriti will conduct research on the "Properties of 2-D Materials for Device Fabrication.—TNS

SD College students shine Kriti Sharma of the department of physics, GGDSD College, has been awarded a research project of Rs 22 lakh for a period of three years by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi, under the Extra Mural Research Project Scheme. Kriti will conduct research on the "Properties of 2-D Materials for Device Fabrication.—TNS
