Himal is the first International Master from Chandigarh and is ranked 2,454 in the world and 52nd in India. I am looking forward to bring more laurels to the city in the upcoming Asian and National championships,” said Himal. I have already secured one GM norm and I hope that I will become the first Grandmaster from the city. He is the second player from the northern region to achieve the IM title.
